Green & Gray Gathering
April 6th, 2024 5:30 to 9:00PM
2024 marks the 20th year that Ponderosa High School Foundation has been working diligently to “Enrich the Education of Every Bruin” by supporting the school through twice-a-year mini-grants, twice-a-year Teacher Amazon Wishlists, senior scholarships, and collaboration for larger scale projects, such as the recent gym mural. These efforts are only made possible through the generosity of the school community and the greater Ponderosa community.
This year we are excited to host the annual Green and Gray Gathering fundraiser, held in the heart of the district at the beautiful Cameron Park Country Club on Saturday, April 6th from 5:30pm-9:00pm.
The Event Includes:
Buffet Dinner with lemonade, tea, and coffee
Live Music performed by Ponderosa Jazz Band Programs
Raffle Baskets
Silent Auction for student-produced creations, from Art, Floral, and Ag Mechanics, as well as other amazing items
Dessert Dash supplied by Bruin Bakers from Advanced Culinary Arts
Photo ops with our beloved Ponderosa Bruin
We believe communities are strengthened by the schools within them. We hope you, our community, will consider joining us this wonderful evening to support our mission. See you there!

2022 Green & Gray Gathering
Thank you to everyone who supported our Green and Gray Gathering at Saureel Vineyards. It was amazing to have everyone together again and enjoy performances, flowers, art and carpentry by the students. We appreciate our hosts Saureel Vineyards for allowing us to use such a beautiful location. A big thank you to John Sanders for the delicious food and to Scott Harvey for his exceptional wine. We are especially grateful to our sponsors who without their support this night could not have been possible. Please check out our sponsors page and watch our social media so that you can go out and support these local sponsors. Thank you to each individual who attended. Each person helps to create the best educational options and environment for every Bruin. We are so grateful to live in such a supportive community. Stay tuned for what is coming next year. You won’t want to miss it.
2020 Green & Gray Gathering
The first Green & Gray Gathering held by the new Board was planned for March 20, 2020. After months of planning for a sit-down dinner event catered by John Sanders of Old Town Grill in Placerville, we were forced to cancel the event due to the Covid shut down. After some last-minute scrambling to change the plan and salvage our event, we held the first ever Drive-Through Green & Gray Gathering on the sidewalk outside the Old Town Grill. John prepared dinners to go and our Board of Directors handed them out to donors who had pre-paid for the event. Thank you John Sanders and Old Town Grill for helping us keep this event going!
